An increasing amount of scientific work relies on computational experiments, including domains ranging from Pharmacology to Geosciences, Astronomy or Computer Science. The software designed for these experiments –scientific software- is critical for understanding how the results of a publication were obtained, and crucial for reproducibility.

However, scientific software is generally difficult to discover and reuse due to a lack of descriptive metadata, heterogeneous documentation and the amount of effort needed to understand how to configure and use it with new types of data.

SciSoft-KG aims to automatically generate machine-readable descriptions of scientific software, informing intelligent systems to assist researchers discovering, setting up and operating scientific software with new types of d
